I'll be cooking this tonight! Thanks! It's great because it is stuff I always have on hand too. Keep the recipes coming, I'll be following. I love your profile statement about envying the food network people with all their fresh spices. I often think the same thing. I'm glad you have started this blog as there is definitely a niche for it.

Aren't we all feeling a little poor right now?
Easy
Nothing that's going to take every ingredient in your pantry, try the patience you never had in the first place and take longer than any meal should. I refuse!
Freaking Delicious
Yeah!!
About me
I am the married mother of baby twins. My husband is a student and we are, well, poor.
I watch food network (well, I did when we had cable) and envy the people who can afford to buy fresh herbs and spices, salmon, and a number of things I can't pronounce. I look at blogs and websites and desire to make delicious food...but do not have desire to spend the money on 26 ingredients to get me there.
Over the past year I have learned how to take the meal I want and simplify the recipe to fit my budget. Someday I will have the funds to let my culinary intuition loose. But until then, enjoy my findings for dinner on a budget.
